Loved this place. Interesting odd decor. Great variety of ice cream flavors, plus several unusual flavors of sorbet. Strawberry was my favorite. Green apple very refreshing. Servers were very pleasant and friendly.

I heart their ice cream. It's just that simple. You can expect there to be the usual favorites & one strange flavor. I always get the strange or unexpected flavor. Lavender ice cream in June is something go always look forward to. Here's to local, family owned businesses & amazing ice cream!

I had passed by the pink pig van several times on my strolls around the Jackson Square area. I finally decided that I needed to try the ice cream. I ordered a small death by chocolate ($2). The price was great, but the ice cream was only so-so. The ice cream had a weak chocolate flavor. The texture was gritty, not the creamy, smooth texture that I expected. One of my In addition to the ice cream, the store had a lot of interesting food and candy items. I was also surprised by their tea selection. I will definitely go back when I'm feeling the urge to experiment with tea.

I got the maple ice cream and it was okay. Nothing special. The place is decorated with pigs...I mean there are pigs EVERYWHERE. It's kinda cute...but I don't think I'd come back anytime soon.

Razzleberry's is in historic Jackson Square in Oak Ridge, a town which was built for the Manhattan Project. It's locally owned and definitely one-of-a-kind. I guarantee you will never see another restaurant like this! There are pigs everywhere and pork is highly featured on the menu. If you don't like pigs and don't like pork, just go for the ice cream or the beignets if you get there before they run out. The ice cream is generally good. It's not my favorite, but it's good and it's made on the spot. The food is generally OK - it can be hit or miss. The owner is the cook and makes up specials daily. Some of them are great. Some are OK. Almost all have pork. That said, there are options for vegetarians, albeit not too many. The coffee is so-so and the owner is a little full of himself. But it's a really good place to meet for breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is casual and homey (again, if you like pigs). They give a nod to the Manhattan Project with some of their offerings, including the giant pink pig with wings that looks down from the ceiling with a brand, "Y-12 1/2"

The Razzleberries experience is one of a kind - the atmosphere, the management and the food are all original and inviting. I have really enjoyed everything I have had on the menu, both for lunch and dinner. Further, the deli meats and homemade kielbasa are outstanding. Finally, can't find homemade ice cream like this anywhere else. Definetely worth stopping at Razzleberries on your next search for a great place to eat.

You need to go to this place! It's another oasis of fun and flavor in the culinary desert that is Oak Ridge. The pig thing is really working in this joint. From the decorations to the menu items the chef is all about that ba-con! (No grizzle) My only criticism is the dining room was really cold. But the waitress was warm and delightful. The seating is roomy and interesting, go see for your self. There are plenty of unusual and tempting items to purchase. And it's really appealing to the little ones. Go check it out for yourself.

If you're looking for a whole in the wall restaurant with great food, this is where to go. I ordered the doctor's special which is an off menu vegetarian item, and it was beyond delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Polish Galore! That's what I got when I asked the waiter what this restaurant represented. You know, I truly think that if you ask the waiters the right question you can always get a good dish. (Warning: I am not responsible if you try my method out and you get a bad dish. I say it works 80% of the time, unless you get a new watier then it's just hopeless.) Just from the view outside, and the day was wonderful when I came here, there were dog owners everywhere. It seemed to me as if this was a regular place to come hang out in Jackson Square, which I sort of find it like a "cultured" area. There's an acting theater in the corner, several restaurants and this restaurant just seemed to state that it belonged here with all their ornaments and well check out the pink pig van. I have some down sides, no doubt, but that isn't bad considering the big picture. Walking in you see, depending on the day, either a packed and can't get a seat type of day or a semi-empty dining area. They have small tables that seat around 4 people (at least the one I sat at) and also felt as if it was like a quik-mart type of set up with a counter to buy souvenirs that the restaurant offered. We went and got beers from a spinning tray, and it seemed like a very "homey/community/laid back" atmosphere as it wasn't really proper of any "normal" restaurant. I don't know how the beer system works but they sell by the bottle and from what I've heard is that it's usually craft beer that's served. No Miller Lite/Piss water here! So yes, that's a definite plus for me. Lets get to food. I asked the waiter: "What is the one or two dishes that defines Razzleberry's, in your opinion?" Yes, that's how I do it. And well he gave me an answer and I chose one of the two. He said that their NY Pastrami/Reuben sandwich was the best out of NY. I have to say, it was pretty good, good enough to go back and have it again or try another staple dish (which I will). What made it good? The taste. It wasn't too overbearing. I didn't want to retch when I ate it. It went well with the beer. The sandwich wasn't too big to the point where you were stuffed when you finished, and at the same time the sandwich wasn't skimped out on the lack of meat. Service was good. As my waiter laid out what Razzleberry's stood for, and was very attentive and helpful. Downsides: Beer is a little expensive. I believe one beer was like $9? For a craft beer it's a little on the pricey side, but this is hardly anything that will affect my score. As long as it's good beer, I don't mind paying for the price and this beer was something I've never had so it was good! Conclusion: Worth it. Go and try my suggestion out and see what wonders will come of it.

My mom and I decided to go there on lunch and it was quite, not many people were there at all..We ordered the special which was pulled pork, bacon, and ham on a sandwich with a side. The sandwich was a little dry, but that was our fault for not asking what else we could get on the sandwich. It did come with some barbecue sauce on the side though and we both used that. The sandwich tasted good, besides being kinda dry. The potato salad was awesome! I would love to go back and try some other items off their menu, I got excited when I saw that they had Beignets and definitely want to try them.

Great ice cream- I loved the Nutella flavored mind. The cashier helped us take a group photo outside with the pig van and the owner was there during our visit and was very pleasant. Great place that really exudes the local culture.

Razzleberry's rocks -- like only a one-of-a-kind local place can rock. First off, you have to know that it's not just about ice cream -- it's also about tasty lunches; grocery shelves filled with deli meats and cheeses and quality specialty groceries from Europe (not to mention specialty bottled beer); and great breakfasts on Saturday mornings (try the beignets). And it's about atmosphere. Waldek, the owner, and his eclectic collection of pigs (including that pink pigmobile parked outside) give the place a special personality. (And many of the pigs are bona fide toys that young children can play with while waiting for the grownups to quit eating and talking.) Waldek is from Poland, and he seems to have brought a passion for good food from the "old country." A lot of his menu items feature heaping portions of smoked or spicy meat of the pig -- bratwurst and other sausages, Jamaican pork sandwiches, muffelettas, but there's usually some excellent ratatouille or other vegetarian items somewhere in the back room, even if it's not on the day's menu. He and his staff enjoy people and are happy to accommodate special needs. Finally, don't let me forget the ice cream (and frozen yogurt and sorbet). It's handmade, and there are about a dozen flavors available at any given time. Ask for "Element 117," the flavor that Waldek invented to honor the discovery of the newest element on the periodic table. He's not a physicist, but he has embraced the community by honoring its science with his ice cream.

This is my favorite destination for handmade ice cream in my area. They also operate a deli and sell polish food. The owner is super friendly and funny! They show up to lots of events around oak ridge and their company van has been painted pink with pig eyes, ears and a tail. This is one place you should most definitely not pass up!!
